In 1980 we'd say:

"delco pf40 with quaker state 10w40."

In 2020 we've got to say:

I used the Motomaster OE plus oil filter made by Champ Labs and Coop 5W20 full synthetic Dexos 1 Gen 2 approved oil.

I miss the simpler times :ROFLMAO:

One thing I do like is even with a bunch of towing I could nearly stretch the oil change to 10K. One thing I don't like is the need for a scan tool and no dipstick to check trans fluid. Plus the price for ZF trans fluid.

If you have the evic that shows the trans temp on vehicle info, you don’t need a scan tool, just need trans temp I want to say 85-125*, engine running 30 seconds in park neutral reverse drive then pull the plug and fluid should trickle out, however those trans are sealed and filled for life so if it isn’t leaking I wouldn’t worry, have more of a chance of introducing dirt into the unit than actually helping. These units will set dtcs for low fluid if actually low

Great info thanks. I figured it would and the 8 spd has been great. Getting low to mid 20's Imperial mpg in super comfort makes this GT just awesome to tow with.

Well I think the car is broken in. Going to my BIL's wedding it AVERAGED 37 mpg, so over 40 mpg Imperial, started out the trip showing low/mid 20 mpg Imperial, going 105 to 119 km/hr 3 hours away. Just over 50,000 Km on the clock.

You need one of those pedal doohickies like Mike just got on the Kitty.
Which one, couldn't find it in his thread. I could also use the Sprintex Supercharger as well😉.

Those throttle control devices have been hit and miss, failing out of the blue. Hopefully you have good luck with it, they do make a difference, when they work. This car in regular mode, let alone sport mode which is even better, is a massive improvement over our lagging 2010 3.5 SXT. Of course our current car would feel like your car with a Chevette tied to it.
