That's pretty cool.
Growing up in the greater metropolitan area of New York, I don't remember ever seeing any police car of that body style, using those colors, or insignias. Usually they were blue and white, the earlier cars were green black, and white. Some of the ugliest police cars out there.

That's not a real squad car... Just a regular Buick painted up like a police car.

the Quebec Provincial Police had K cars, there was not enough room in the engine compartment for a siren....
Everyone that has not commented recognizes that it is "Retro". As is often the case in retro, historical accuracy is somewhat beside the point.
I didn't see where it mentions it is a retro....but that saying you borrowed sure has a following

Agreed. Not even close to the proper colors or insignia's. But, kind of cool none the less....The K cars for NYPD were the funniest looking things ever. They always caused traffic jams they wee so slllooowww. LOL
