that garage is bigger than my house 🙁

And that wagon looks sweeter than my wifes tastes!!!

I love the barn, man. I have a bad case of garage envy.
Good luck in your new digs.

Jack

thats some good lookin work u r doing there. good job man!

I'm hoping for an update....................your rear bumper inspired me. Mostly because I can't find a decent set of fillers. I wacked mine the same way you did. It's clear why you did each side once you look at it. Way to many bolt holes to relocate otherwise. I also cut my tail lights out. Just don't care for the utilitarian appearance of the factory lights. I will be going to some Cadillac lights turned sideways. Thanks for inspiring me!

Yeah, fillers are getting harder to find. However, they are being reproduced in fiberglass...not cheap though.
My fillers are starting to go south as well.(pardon the pun). I also would like to section the bumpers and eliminate the fillers.
I originally wanted to cut a section out of the middle. But as you mentioned all the bolt holes... It would infact be easier cutting off sections at the ends.

What Caddy lights are you going to use? And are you still going to install them in your bumper?

Dammit! Why didn't you say something when you stopped by?!

The ones on my Malibu were still in good shape, you could've grabbed them when you came over for the rear glass hinges and wind deflector! I ended up leaving them on there cause I was too lazy to pull them all off. Oh well...

Sorry Blake! I forgot about it. Actually it's a combination of crappy fillers, extremely faded lights, and the bumper just looks too damn wide. With a 81 Lemans front front bumper it's all rubber....No chrome. So the rear chrome bumper looks odd as well. New tail lights are $135. You may be able to find used that are cheaper and decent, but likely will have a couple flaws. Plus they look like something you would buy in the trailer department at the Fleet Farm. I wanted to use 1968 GTO tail lights, but those are waaaaaaay expensive. I will be using 89-93 Cadillac Deville lights. $30-$50 on ebay. Plus a company makes steel buckets to recess them in for like $40. A lot of the custom truck guys use them vertically just like on the Caddy. I will lay them sideways in the bumper. 93-97 are similar but are a little more tappered on one end.

wow, glad I inspired someone! 😳 I would love to see you do a build thread too........Blake said do it so..........

I hate to report that the only update I have for the wagon is that it seems to have a valve sticking  I knew better than to trust those heads(supposedly redone and never used) without having them tested.

The wagon will be a priority again very soon, it's been a busy summer. I've seen more relatives in the last few months than the last 2 years :blam:
