Just dropping by to say hello. It's an 86 I've had it for a day and I'm super excited. I bought it from a guy 2 and a half hours away from me. It rode like a dream and I still cant believe that a 32 year old car made the trip with zero issues. I've looked at some of the cars here on the forum.....your cars are amazing. Hope that I'm able to help the car see it's full potential.

Thank you guys. It was listed on an online ad for $3500. Got it for $3,000. I don't think the guy knew what he had. I've seen a lot of them online for that price range that are a bit rougher than mine. The interior is hurting a bit. It needs a headliner, radio, dash lights are dim or out, No tears just a it of grime on the upholstery. The 305 runs perfectly. Hope to slide in a 350 crate with a chrome dress up kit. That would be in the summer after the odds and ends are done.

I think I got a good deal. Was it a good buy?

The frame is good. There is rust on the drivers side floorboard. Hopefully it's not too bad. I'll say a prayer before I rip the carpet out....lol.

I just ran my VIN through an online decoder. The decoder couldn't identify the transmission type. Does anyone know what trans came in the Canadian built cars? And why does it state FWD?????

Hopefully you have a 2004r easy way to check is look at dash does it say DRNOD21 or DRND21
