hello all

I have finally joined this great forum , for the last few months have reading & checking almost daily ...ok some days more than once. some great posts , builds , new part development..etc

A little about me , 50 years old male been a car guy since being born, very bad speller , basically hard working , enjoy laughing , good nature type guy.

So as I look out the front window & see the snow banks , wishing it was spring & day light still out..oh well a boy can dream.

so the current projects-

1985 olds 442 t-top too many owners , too many miles , missing the original wheels & radio & .A.C. under hood.
needs .. tons , rear frame rails , ok it's a long list...but bought it for $ 300 with all the good 442 parts
8.5 non posi rear , chrome air cleaner top...it's a work in process.

1986 buick regal - low option 2 door , old mans car , 1/2 vinyl roof , buckets , floor shifter 3.8 v-6 , 132,000 km. 14" spoke
hub caps , mint interior , body not to bad ( it's the land of salt after all ) needs door skins bad ... wonder
where i will buy them ? ok bought it for $100.00 from a old boss of mine. i am the 3rd owner.
totally unmolested .

thats the short story , looking forward to being part of your great community .

Dave

ps - pictures to come

ok luck ..park 2 cars , hell plus my truck - 95 k2500 and a 03 camary ..well have to get to work without breaking the bank for gas, and a box trailer.
70 foot driveway & a 400 square foot garage with 60 amp electric service & a 3/4" gas line ( soon to have heat )

and no not thinking of selling

I am not thinking of buying.......the next biggest problem you'll have is keeping the neighbours happy so the by-law drill sargents don't show up...

I guess he's been living there for a while, he knows what hes doing.

Sound like nice projects lets see some pictures

Nice 442 you got there it isn't a hopeless car like you described it to be. I'm guessing those pics are from fall. This winter has become the biggest nuisance.

Welcome to the site, from about an hour northeast of Toronto Dave. I'm a bit older than you, but am in a similiar situation. I have an '84 Monte SS, that's been in the family since new, an '81 Malibu Iraqi taxi, and I had an '86 Grand Prix 2+2, but sold it recently. Been into the A/G body cars for quite awhile now.
Lots of good folks here.
There are some local sources, where you can look for parts, as well as some reproduction parts available for these cars as well.
What are your plans for your cars?
