I've done worse but I'm a body man if you're going to do it get new floors before you cut the car or you'll end up with a mess. When your ready to do it just ask and I'll walk you through it if necessary. Like I said it's only metal hope you have a mig welder
I'm down to learn. Fortunately my father in laws been a welder for 25 years so I'll have him.unfortunately I've already cut a spot out lol. Should I get aftermarket floors?

Yes and a spot weld cutter 3m welding paper to stick on the inside of the glass before you start cutting Sparks destroy glass you will want to drill the spot welds out of the braces so you can plug weld them back on the new floors you really need the new floors before you can get rolling

I would go wit a reputable company but try to stay on budget ask around the forum and see what other people used and find out what they think of the quality. I've done a lot of floors but there's way more options out there now find something made from a good gauge steel that comes E-coated

Welcome! You have found the right place for great info. I was a roundy rounder on the NE IA dirt tracks. I LOVE dirt track racing!! :friday:
It's big here in MO

Welcome to the forum. If you want to fix your car yourself, this is the place to gain the knowledge to do it. I rebuilt my TH350 with the help of a member on here. Do your research, make sure you've got the right equipment and materials for the job and ask questions when you don't know something. It worked for me.

I'm looking forward to seeing progress on your Cutlass. Consider starting a build thread in the Build Thread Section.
