New guy intro

I thought I posted a new guy thread, but don't see it anyplace (?) But then again maybe I didn't..
It's the age thing I guess......
My reason for being here is an '87 El Camino, that was a gift from my niece. I already have a '75 Elco that I just restored, and my niece figured I could do this '87 too !
In regard to the '87, it's black with silver bottom trim color, and the usual low powered 305 engine. It appears to be a nice project, if I get caught up !

Currently waiting for the snow to melt off, in order to get the "new" El Camino moved. and the snow in front of the shop is still Deep !

Nice warm days coming, for the coming week, so maybe I'll get things moving !

I'm currently looking for the list of codes for the service parts list, that is on my glove box door. I believe there is a list on here some place (??)

I did find enough of the codes at the GM Heritage Center site, for what I wanted to know.....
