Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments. Yea i can't wait till i can take the first ride. It'll be worth the wait. Thinking about throwing in a manual transmission just for the fun of slamming gears. What gets better than the sound of tearing up the concrete.

Catch you guys later

Hey thanks mann, I'm trying. I need to snag up a set of those dart heads (like what you have) and that should take me over the 500hp or close to with other small mods. Working on a budget here so it'll be awhile. Just noticed but your not too far away from me. Almost call you my neighbor lol here some links of the motor and the elco. Motor is an old pic and have made changes to it since the pic. i'll try to get some new ones shortly. Auctuall the car isnt together anymore either as the frames getting apoxy coated as we speak

I got the housing and axles and gears from this guy on Ebay on the internet. He did an Excellent job. Not to bad of a price also. He has complete rears also but cost more as expected. I got the housing and axles and 3.89 gears from him and I got another Ford9" from a friend for $50 from a van. I used the 11" brake drums and third member from it. I rebuilt the brake drums myself and I had a local shop install the new 3.89 gears and mini spool that I got off Ebay cheap with Moly pin. I will also put the new brake lines on it when it is finally in. I'm half way done. The cold weather stopped me. Here is the guys Ebay site.

This guy had the cheapest price on rearend gears also. They are very good quality gears.
My axles are also 31 spline.
