hey all namews matt oakland ca ive had my shate of gbodys so im here to share ive looked thru some of the post here and yall are doing ya thang thats for sure current gbody is a 1987 grand prix v8 700r buckets and a floor shifter got it from the orig owner kinda was an impulse buy since there really arent many of there around when i got it had a bad rear main seal leak from the dipstick for the trans fixed all of that it runs good needs a new carb besides that its a great rolling project but its not my cup of tea want to do another el camino not into this car i have a crap load of parts for it just dont have the urge to complete it thinking of selling it and going for a elco again any thoughts ill add pics

Welcome. Looks like a pretty nice car, theres not many grand prix around here either, or many gbodys for that matter. They think gbodys are junk and scrap em or use em as race cars here. 
It would make a good project IMO, the gp even has some suspension braces that the other gbodys lack! On a side note, it would've had a 200-4r trans from the factory unless it's been changed to a 700r4?

Seen the interior pic on a diff post, seen u had briar brown interior, that's a rare color, Esp that color buckets and console.
yea its a diff trans the old one blew i guess i saw the car with thoses options and just bought it now im kinda stuck with it nobody knows what a gp is or not into them ill maybe try ebay im an elco guy lol
