Hey- just found this place, looks like one of the few G-body forums that is still around. I'm looking for info for the 231, and if anyone had tips and advice, besides "Get a V8"
Right now I've got the motor apart, bored 30 over, headers, a weiand intake and, finally, time to put it all back together.

Thanks!

Yeah, always wanted to go the junkyard route with 2 from a k-car, but even those are getting hard to find!

I like this site for the G-body info and turbobuick.com for the V6 info!

Just my two cents!

Welcome aboard!

P.S. If you want to be different and decide to go V8, I've got the 231's big brother, the 350 Buick, for sale! It will drop right in on your V6 mounts, and all of your V6 brackets, pulleys and accessories will bolt right up. You only need a V8 fan shroud to run. It would be a GREAT engine to run while you rebuild your turbo V6....

Just a thought... hehehehe

I've been warned about your type... a power pusher!
I've wanted to try a buick 350, or if gas wasn't so high... a 455.
I'll just re-assemble the 231 for now.
