Spent the day running errands, then painted the mudroom. Well almost finished, ran out of white paint. Was able to finish the hunting closet though. Pic doesn't really show it all that well. Snapped a couple of pics of the lights on at night. Loving them.

Supervisor hard at work.

Finished painting the mudroom today, installed the missing latch for the door into the garage, shower curtain bar for second bath, and water line for the fridge ice maker. Started the fridge up and unpacked it all except for the outside plastic wrap. Figure while we're still working in the house it might be a good idea to leave it on & give it a little protection. Fridge is ready for move in day. 🤣

Looks like you're both low & a little light on the beer for a build project.

Well, I don't drink while building. If I did nothing would ever get done. I save them for the end of the day to sit back and admire all my screw ups, err, I mean my progress. LOL

Been working away on things. Got the satellite speakers installed for the surround sound, stairs built from the mudroom into the house, pic of the fishing rod room ;) some other small things I didn't bother taking pics of. Coax cable splitter installed and hooked up to the antenna. Worked on the air exchanger, hopefully finish that tomorrow with my friend that is doing the installation.

Electric passed final inspection today, he still has a couple lights to install, dining room table light, kitchen island light, finish some other little things. Final plumbing inspection is on Thursday, counter tops won't be done on time, they aren't even being measured for until next week :/ So we're taking a two hour drive to go pick the slab out for them to use. A little time away from this will do us good. Carpet is being installed on Thursday. Internet is supposed to be installed on Friday so I took the day off, in addition, the town will be here to do the final walkthrough and give us our certificate of occupancy. Fingers crossed. Not everything will be done, but enough that we can start moving all of our crap inside and get it settled

Lots of loose ends tied up today. Carpet installed. Of course there had to be issues with it though. The installer said it's called a crush mark. Looks like a one inch line of carpet is laid down. He said it happens. Was hidden in the 80 yard roll. Long story short that section was able to go into the spare bedroom. He called the warehouse, they already ordered a new section, and are going to pay him to come back and replace it. Not the end of the world by any stretch, just wanted something to go smoothly for a change.
Under cabinet lights installed, remote for them is bad but they also have a wall switch to cycle thru all the options.
Good news is the plumbing passed it's final inspection and is completely done.
We were also able to finish the air exchanger which is good since it's needed for the certificate of occupancy.
Inspection is tomorrow at 10am. Fingers crossed it goes as planned.
