So if you have been following along, you may remember that I was building the kitchen island at work. I bought a butcher block and was fabricating the rest. Well I got it home today. Had a little issue, it was too big to fit thru the door! LMAO had to remove the butcher block, which isn't easy but my friend that I suckered into helping and I got it done.

I still have to make the bottom rack, which will be out of maple or oak 1x2's. I'm also installing a two gang box for two outlets so the wife can plug appliances in.

Been working away on the island. Got the wood cut for the lower shelf on the island, just slapped the first coat of poly on it. I'll be glad when I'm finally done working on it.
