The worse part is we've run our well dry before trying to water the lawn. Only took about 40 minutes. So we have to be really careful with how much we do it. Somehow I can't find the sprinkler so I'll grab one tomorrow and just water what I can at night for half an hour. Is what it is.
I'm friends with the farmer that owns the land. I can do anything I want except drive on the land. Walk it, target shoot, hunt, etc. I really want a Barrett .50 cal and do some long distance shooting. I have clear sight in fields for 1,000 yards in one direction 😎

Joking aside, what's the refill rate on te well like? What if you got one of those big 500 or 1000 gallon white plastic "food grade" tanks they sell second hand cheaply.
Fill it up a little at a time as well allows. When rain is sparse, use a $50 inline pump to push water to a sprinkler.
Setup probably costs 200-250, but, cheaper than reseeding all over again.
Back when I could shoot I used to have a h&h .375 (amongst others.) At the range i went to for sighting a guy there had a barret. 50 and wanted to try the h&h out. We swapped for half a dozen shots, although the range topped out at 500 yd and he was only set up at around 400. fun toy though.
