Hello everyone , im new here and a new owner of our Gbody cars. My name is Tony normally people call me Mugz, I just purchased a 85 Oldsmobile cutlass Supreme Brougham 2dr with 67k Original miles. It was a family members car that i bought from them for $100 because they wanted it out of there yard. The car runs, and drives ( Minus rev ) body is pretty solid , I'm going to be looking to purchase 2 new doors since both lower parts of the doors on each side have decent amounts of rust, and it's not just surface . Outside of that it doesn't have very much rust, other than surface rust on the undercarriage and a little rust around the car, but being how old it is im pretty happy about it . At this point im looking to learn as much as possible about these cars, I would really like to drop a 350 with a 700R4 or Tubo 350 Trans into it at some point next year since I can't seem to find anything realistic that would really give me the power I would want out of my 305 that's currently in it . Rather than post all my questions on here, I'll just upload a few pictures and see what you guys think.

Welcome. I think you should sell it to me for $200 and double your money :lol: Are you sure that it has a Chevy 305? My bet is that it has the Olds 307. Find a running Olds 403 or 350 and swap it in. Both will bolt directly into your car. Do a search here or on Oldspower.com and you will find everything you need.

Ill be keeping the car haha, it's goin to be my project, and ill have to make sure but I believe its a 305 .

Also I new MI member, I looked at your photos. I am looking for that Drivers side (left) grill insert, or both.
I would be willing to pay good $ and also give you a differant set to put back in the car.
1) is the plastichrome in great shape around the outer edges?
2) Are all the mounting pads and springs intact and not cracked?
3) does the car have power bucket drivers seat by any chance?
4) how far from Metro airport are you?

I am pretty sure he said he is keeping the car for a project vehicle, and not selling anything off of it. :lol:
