I will be running a pair of Garrett Turbos for my car and one of them will be their new mirror image so I can go for that symmetrical look 😉 My Coyote will be stock 302 displacement to keep the wall thickness up.
As far as the LSX, it will be 427CI with a pair of Garrett turbos on it. I'll have to post pics of what we've done for him so far, I think you'll like it!

I think I heard something about the Coyote being pretty high revving? How tight are you gonna wind that new age 5.0?
I just did a quick read up on the Coyote and as bad as it kills my Chevy loving soul to say it, I'm impressed. That's a pretty badass little engine.

I had a customer that was going to have me do a new style LT1 & 6 speed swap into his 1978 Corvette then he found out that the new drivetrain was worth more than the car so he decided to pass and is now hunting down a "deal" for an LS & 4L60 trans.
As far as how high I'm going to rev mine, I'm thinking between 8-8500 as I'm sure it'll still be making plenty of power below that range 😉

If you check out some builds on here a lot of guys are boxing the rails and adding braces to stop them from flexing so they leave straight also so they don't rip out trailing arms you'll seeHow so or what for? Meaning for a frame notch and cage?
BTW, will a 315/60-15 fit reasonably well with just a frame notch? It's been a while since I've worked on this platform and forgot 🙁
I'm not sure I do know I had 29.5-9-15 slicks on my 87 olds with 1/2 spacer on olds rally wheels and they hit the inner wheelhouse in front of the tire and cleared the frame with no notchOk, I follow you now. I remember seeing years ago guys doing extra supports and bracing between the rear frame rails, especially once notched. Fortunately I've got a 2 & 4 post lifts so I figured I'd be lifting the body off at some point to add bracing and supports. I'm familiar with reinforcing the "torque boxes" from the Foxbody stuff. I'll also be doing an aftermarket vintage air so I'll be able to get rid of the big ugly factory air box and free up some engine bay space.
What about fitting the 315's, any issues with just a frame notch?
