Great progress! Mine are on stock status being that I traded my other 87 elco for a mint MAURADER with only 47,000 miles!(been wanting one of these to add to my "limited production" car collection😉)i was thinking of doing this to my dime,as I want to run a 22x12 rim and not planning on narrowing frame, until I get the 5.3 installed and plumbed.they are stepside fenders, modded to a fleetside bed,as I like this look ALOT,and really detest actual stepside beds.don't know what meats you plan on running but thought I'd post this for the "cool factor"😉how did you go about lifting the cab from the frame?

With a cherry picker - put "I" bolts in the rear seat belt holes and used the holes in the kick panel area, ran the boom through the window. Used the same method on the box and front clip.

very niCE.thats how i was suspecting you had done it but had to clarify😉i know alot of people looking for a clean set of those cutty rims??? if youd be interested in selling them(possible money for the dime???) pm me if interested.whatcha spraying on the frame?

Now the fab work begins !! LAX - The rims aren't as good as they look and the beauty rings are mis-matched and it would cost a fortune to send them to you

So PLEASE entertain my inquiry as to what motor mounts you are using?!?! All I see are v8 swap mounts that have to be used with 2.8 factory mounts??? I have a 4.3??? as for the rims,I was asking for a buddy of mine that is LS swapn'n a very nice 69 cutty ragtop and he was looking for some cutty wheels.

Those are the S-10 V 8 conversion mounts - wanted the engine located in the proper position for aftermarket parts. I will be running frt & rear engine plates.

well no longer need the info on the mounts...traded my dime for 2 complete RUST FREE 3rd gen mc's 78 landau and 79 cl,and a RUST FREE 86 grand prix all with there naturaully aspirated v8's🙂 ill still drop in on the thread,as this is going to be a nice one i know it!!!,and as i still have my 99 2wd 2 door blazer extreme to build to my liking(5.3 with t56 and bagged im going to dub it my "TYCLONE"(being that its a gmc blazer like the TYphoon, and will have a chevy heart like the syCLONE🙂)
