Cool that looks like the color that’s on the valve covers. Just trying to keep a stock appearance with it

I completely understand. That was initially the same plan I had for mine. You wouldn’t suspect this stock 305 looking engine to actually be a 300ish horse Vortec-headed 350 would ya?
😉😅

In the 80's and 90's I worked in sales for a Buick dealer in Pittsburgh. We were allocated one of those after the race and I sold it to a local customer. I had hoped he never was in an accident, 'cause who knows how difficult it would be to get replacement graphics. Well he was in TV production and moved to New York shortly after purchase, so I never saw the car again. As with all the G-bodies of that time, performance certainly didn't match the looks. The 4.1's only had a 2 series gear ratio, around 2.41 IIRC, so I would order the 3.8 in my company cars, which had the option of 3.23's. Buick was heavy into V6 development at the time, eventually putting a V6 powered car on the pole at Indy in '84. From 1981 to 1985, there was no V8 option available in a Buick, unlike the other G's.
Good luck with your resto. Who knows, you could possibly have the same car I sold new!

good luck getting any of the graphics on it. Although, I guess someone could reproduce them.

I’ve talked to the company that made the Buick shadow decals working on getting a set of those. The others I believe a graphic company can remake them. They aren’t the toughest decals ever made so I don’t think it would be difficult to reproduce. Hoping to find that out once I get the car drivable as I plan to swing by a couple different graphic companies just to see

Very cool story, I ran a car fax on the car but it only went back to 2004 everything else is still a mystery on the car was hoping to have more history shown on the car fax but that wasn’t the case

Any sign company that deals with vinyl can repop those decals/graphics.

Panarama Signs around the corner from me makes/duplicates all the race cars and hot rods graphics around here

That’s what I figured I didn’t expect them to be to difficult to make especially with all the crazy graphics a lot of these companies make now this should be a piece of cake I would think
