While it’s on my mind does anyone have any tips on rebuilding the original 2bbl carb and a good carb kit they recommend for it?

I’ll send him a PM on the carb. Today I did some more cleaning and painting. Got the fan shrouds cleaned up and brackets painted for them

Also been working on the interior side. Cleaning door jambs, cleaning out the t top seals ( I did pull the metal strips up and there is some surface rust but nothing that appears to have rusted through thank goodness will clean that up and treat that with a rust reformer sometime soon) , giving the plastics a good wipe down, cleaned all the glass. Unfortunately I think I will wind up replacing the dash pad it is cracked in several spots. Several small tears above the radio and along where the speaker panel meets up to the actual pad. I can live with it for now but it’s going to have to be replaced eventually.

Dust shield cleaned and painted a nice aluminum color it was just bare metal. Also polished on the door sills some they look much better
