Maybe I’ll have the engine back by the end of August... went by Friday and it looked to be next in line to get bored. Crank is back from having the work done on it. Just a waiting game right now. I did order a brand new set of lug nuts and lug nut covers for the gta wheels. I also ordered a new output shaft seal for the trans as it looks leaky. I received the test pipe a few days ago with the 4 bolt flange for the new pypes exhaust. Still need to get a new hanger for the 4 bolt style flange.

I hope not I have my wife’s Tahoe I’ve got to rebuild the front differential on and need to get the car moving so I can have some garage space for a few nights. I’m tempted just to let him finish the machine work and I reassemble it. I originally was going to let machine shop put it back together but idk I’ll see what it looks like by the end of this week and make a decision.

When he did my Lumina Z34 heads I had them back in less than a week. Granted I know that’s not a full engine rebuild the turn around was awesome on them.

Be happy there are still machine shops around, here they're disappearing. None of the NAPA stores have them anymore, and the independents are s..l..o..w.

The one I use is owned by a dirt track racer/track operator, so yeah, things are not super fast, since racer stuff is a priority

That’s awesome I’ll have to go by target. I used to have most of the dub cars but when I had the house fire back in 2013 most of those were damaged from heat and smoke. All of my gmp turbo regals all ruined I still have those but will probably start replacing them in the next year or two. I had a big turbo regal collection only to have most of it ruined.

New exhaust and carb ordered. Hopefully the exhaust gets here before the weekend I would love to get it installed

Did some work on the car this evening. Dropped the trans pan, cleaned, installed new gasket and filter, installed new output shaft seal, pressure washed a couple parts so I can get them painted. Haven’t gotten my email from Kirban on the exhaust tracking info so going to assume it hasn’t shipped yet
