cleaned up fairly well. i Kind of like the patina on it. Id say a intercooled GN/TType engine/drivetrain would be a nice compliment to the car. Considering the original engine was a buick 3.8 and is already out?
I was thinking about this car, and came up with a crazy idea. The early hot air engines had a carb, so to keep it "correct looking", do a Series 2 supercharged lower manifold with a carb plate for a throttle body (either blow through unit or just air with injectors in the manifold) and a turbo. Kinda like Turbo Zach has, but with the stronger bottom end. The only real giveaway would be the lack of distributor. It would probably have to run off a standalone ECU like a Megasquirt or something. Back it with a 4 speed OD trans, and it would be badass!
I know it's like squeezing blood out of a rock but are you going to try to get what ever extra power just to help it perform better than stock?
