Quite the opposite actually...Like everything else this is a matter of opinion and if you’re a mopar or no car kind of guy I get it. The Hemi has major design defects including a fatal flaw with camshaft lubrication and dropping valve seats. After working with FCA and seeing their lack of engineering discipline there is no way I would own a dodge. Not trying to start a shyt storm here but the data speaks for itself.
I was talking more in terms of available N/A power. We are probably 5+ years from needing a new truck. Too many underutilized vehicles as it is already.
I haven't heard of a single HC 6.2 developing a camshaft lube or dropped valve seat. Other mechanical issues yes, but that is usually due to abuse.
My understanding was that the 5.7 was pretty robust due to it's simplicity. I would never touch anything with DoD.
