one of the more respectable corsicas i have seen. nice work

the Corsica can run well. a guy i used to work with had one "highly" moded. heck got 8mpg but could fly by my el camino like it was sitting still.

Welcome to the site. I have a lady friend who races a street legal '87 Monte SS. The car strarted out stock, then the racing bug bit her. She installed a mild 350, but it wasn't fast enough. She then went to a fairly strong 355, and the car was a fairly consistent mid 13 second car. She could have left it at that, but she wanted to go faster. She then installed a crate 502 BBC, 4L80E with full manual valve body, and a Dana 60 rear axle with 4.11 gears, and a full ladder bar rear suspension. Now its a consistent mid 11 second car, and still sees limited street duty during the good weather (including driving it to the drag strip & back home again). The Corsica you've got looks pretty slick too. The 3400 is a good swap in those cars.

Thanks guys.. I know a corsica is not the ideal car to mod... but it was fun. Now its time for me to get into a REAL car.. hahaha

my corsica gets about 30 miles per gallon... pretty good.. and flys by alot of cars.. hehehe... but is still sllloowww!

I got the racing bug in 07. I raced in 05 and 06 but only maybe a total of 4 times in 2 years. in 07 is when i hit it harder and this year i am going all out. It will still be a "practice" year... but i will be at more test n tunes for sure!!

My goal for the g body for awhile is to have a consistant reliable bracket car... after a few years with that.. i want to go way faster!! I wont stop until i hit that 6 second 1/4 mile over 220 miles per hour!! Thats what I want... quick 16. But i am taking baby steps to get there...

thanks for all your comments!! this is a pretty cool place... ill be poking around in here alot!

Nice job on the Corsica. It looks good. Great car to keep around to drive back and forth to work. Good luck on the G-Body Project. You will find a lot of help here.

back half it, put in a strange rear end and get a monster motor and hold on for dear life.
