Glad to found this board. Dad and I are looking at a '87 Buick regal as project and we are entirely new to this thing. Need some front end work. Dad is mechanically sound but not when it comes to computers so I'm gonna give him some help looking for info. Gonna lurk around here first to see if this project worth it.

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of info and good people here. I'm sure you can find what you're looking for but if you don't, just ask.

Any details or maybe even a pic of the Regal you're looking at?

I can't overstate the amount of knowledge and help offered on this forum. I joined here before I bought my g body.

EDIT: even with all the info here on G body's - I bought one anyway!

Welcome to the site from Houston. Hold out for as nice a car as you can. Buy a clean rust free body, then go for a nice interior. The mechanical stuff is the easy part.

Exactly. Even babied g bodies will need some sort of mechanical work if original as the new g is 29 years old
