sup guys, I'm a complete noob at all of this but definitely willing to take advice and learn all I can. I just purchased a 1987 Monte Carlo ls as a project car and hopefully over the next year or so I can restore her quite a bit. Looking forward to all the knowledge!

Welcome to the site from Houston. That's a nice looking Monte you have there. Tell us some more about it and about yourself. You came to the right place for knowledge and help. There are a lot of great guys on here.

Well it currently has the 4.3 v6 in it and one day I would like to do a engine and transmission swap but haven't decided if I want the LS1 or a 350. It also needs headliner and it's quite rusty underneath so I will need new floor pans and the driver side rear quarter panel is rusted out as well. I'm getting all new weatherstripping put in this week and also the exhaust redone because the y pipe is rusted very bad as well. I eventually want fresh paint but keep it black and have red leather seats. That's all I thought of this far.

Nice Monte and welcome to the forum. Good luck on your project.

Welcome aboard!
You've found the best G-body site on the web. Looks like a good start for a cool street machine. Keep us updated on your progress...and a few additional pics would be appreciated.
