Cloyes timing gear on the cam nothing else. Lock plate on gear. Can button I think is steel. Its made onto the cover posted above
Good catch there forgot all about that. If you dont have one dont run it until you do. I used the comp cams billet set with roller thrust bearing. Yes. With a roller cam it tends to walk in and out of the block. Unlike a flat tappit where the cam lobes are machined to push the cam inward. The cam button pushes back and by doing so it jams the cam gear into. The block. Thats why endplay on the cam is crutual.mebe007 said:Really? Is this just because of the roller can?
