Jack, i wish you the best of luck out there. I lived in Jacksonville for 3 years and i never experienced any storms when i was there, except severe winds which pushed me into a gate at NS Mayport when i was walking back to my barracks haha

I take it you were a Navy man.
We've lived in Florida for nearly 27 yrs. The only somewhat major storm we experienced was in '05...I believe...and that was considered a tropical storm with winds up to 70mph.
It was scary watching how much the trees were bending.
I'll try to keep you all informed.
