don't worry about what some say concerning a 7.5 rear end....what are you running for a transmission?

my experience is that there are much better rearends out there, and the 7.5 is hardly a great choice for even a stock engine g-body.

sure you have....just because you claimed that happened doesn't tell me much...plus I've seen guys who think they know how to put a back together and it doesn't last too long..

With the 4.10's and 0.5 (yes thats 0.5) O/D it revs 2000 at about 105-110, its not too bad, and still pulls away well in 6th
I know the second overdrive is .50...I was thinking about a T56 but it`s 50 lbs heavier and I like the 3:08 rear end so I`d never be using the 2nd overdrive. You must be shifting out of 1st before you think about shifting...
thats pretty decent revs for 105-110 kph and 4:10...with my .73 5th I`m at 2400 at 120 kpm but with the .68 5th gear I'm at 2000 at 120 kph (75 mph) I like the .68 and in 4th I can get it up close to 200 kph
