don't worry about what some say concerning a 7.5 rear end....what are you running for a transmission?

i have broken 2 dozen of those 7.5's, not all in g-bodys either. from my experiences, the carriers have broken across the pin, the alxes have twisted, and i have had axle tubes turn about 30 degrees in the center section. but my favorite issue has got to be when the gears come apart and spit out the back of the pan.pontiacgp said:turbo78 said:pontiacgp said:don't worry about what some say concerning a 7.5 rear end....what are you running for a transmission?
I'm basing my opinion on an abundance of experience with the 7.5.....and what do you have?

my experience is that there are much better rearends out there, and the 7.5 is hardly a great choice for even a stock engine g-body.
