i have broken 2 dozen of those 7.5's, not all in g-bodys either. from my experiences, the carriers have broken across the pin, the alxes have twisted, and i have had axle tubes turn about 30 degrees in the center section. but my favorite issue has got to be when the gears come apart and spit out the back of the pan.
my experience is that there are much better rearends out there, and the 7.5 is hardly a great choice for even a stock engine g-body. :puke:

sure you have....just because you claimed that happened doesn't tell me much...plus I've seen guys who think they know how to put a back together and it doesn't last too long..
okay, mr. knowit all. why are you so ****ing arrogant? everybody ,lets bow to the know it all,you know, the guy(?) that doesnt even have any pictures in his profile...
probably doesnt even own a g-body?

arrogant?....no...I just don't believe anything you say

I find it harder to believe anyone who "claims" that 7.5s are strong.

if you're referring to me don't put words in my mouth...I have said they are stronger than some people give them credit for...

and quite frankly except for a limited number of people in here I don't care if any of the rest of you don't believe what I post....

Holy Shatt people we're talking about burnouts here, not 7.5's and how every G should have a nine inch ford in it...
I've got 4.10 gears and a good auburn cone-posi unit and no problems yet. Maybe things will change if i get some drag radials or slicks, but for now, she still holds up when i chirp shifting into third, enough said.

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks pontiacgp is the biggest douche posting on here. You should check out my thread, he makes himself look like a total idiot. We all got a good laugh at him before he stopped posting. He totally shamed himself.
