The original thought for this topic was "owned since new" but that's probably a very very small subset of people, so I'll make it "In the family since the 1980s" ... If you've owned your car since it was new or if you've owned it since Dec 31, 1989, or your dad/mom/uncle/brother/etc. bought it and sold it/gave it to you then this one's for you. If the entries seems small after a few days I'll probably open it up to "..since the 90s" but for now lets keep it really old school.

NOT in the running, but you all probably know my Grand Prix, bought by my dad in like '84. I remember riding home in it from the dealer. Tossed the Diesel for a string of Olds motors until finally the 403 that's in it today. I bought it from him in 1996.

So GO!

So how does one enter their car in the GBOTM

Just post a picture of your car in this thread, provided it matches the topic of the month. That's it. Then I'll put up a voting thread in a few days.

Hmmm. Nah. I think I'll pass. Stock cars seem to get no cred. Can't believe I've had it over 35 years now.

Not looking to be G-body of the month but my car does fall in the guidelines. My Aunt and Uncle purchased the car in Seattle Washington where they lived till my Uncle passed and my Aunt decided she wanted to move back to MI with family. I flew out there in April of 95 to move her back. She said her mechanic wanted to buy the car but I said I wanted it and brought it home on a car dolly behind the U-haul. Hard to believe I've had it for 25 years, the last 15 years as a bracket car.

Although not a Gbody, I bought my 1965 Malibu SS in 1979 and still have it. I was A body til I went G!
My 81 Malibu that I have was bought in 97. The 81 still feels like the new kid on the block to me.
Must really be getting old.

I miss the mark by a few years. Bought my current car in '94, one before that in '92, one before that in '91. So close, but no cigar
