Oil leaks

custom...that's what I plan to do this time....I think the gasket I had was the right one and it was a good one but the pan is from China... :blam:

moroso's 7qt sump fit perfectly - high quality stuff. I have beef with when Canton when they never refunded 150$ worth of shitty parts so I don't buy from them anymore and can't recommend them.

I think the gasket itself was around 40$
 
the last couple of builds I did I used the felpro one piece neoprene gasket with the metal crush sleeves so you cant over tighten them and so ar no leaks but also used a good pan. The very first motor I built for my then 78 4dr malibu was a 355 and I bought all the chrome sh*t to go on it including the pan and timing chain cover damn pan had a pin hole leaked like a b*tch fixed it but never really got it to stop leaking my buddies used to joke that it didnt leak it sweated horsepower :rofl:
