According to the reviews they are not metal reinforced. Yes, they will fit a 307 despite what they say.

Thanks very much guys for the continued support provided me. I believe the issue is moot and case closed. Again, the consensus seems to be rubber over cork which I'm going with. If I'm not mistaken, rubber is a little cheaper than cork which I cannot understand. Tasca provides a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty with their parts (VC Gasket Set) and that should suffice over no warranty as to obtain my own parts (gasket set).
You can't request specific parts? They will mark it up, but you're paying someone to do valve cover gaskets-so, there's that....
* Sorry, I had you blocked for some time. Do not recall the circumstances but 'forget about it'. I'm not dealing with all those emission hoses, never seen so many in my entire life. I'm more than capable but again, not bothering. No, I cannot request parts, then have the warranty attached to my part. There are not many left, if any that are willing to work on this car. Even dealers do not want to take in the car for age and liability. Naturally, mark up is always attached (nothing new) and an inflated time slot (3 1/2 hrs.).
IMO for a stock stamped steel valve cover a standard rubber gasket will provide a good seal without being too rigid, for me I consider the rubber with steel core top of the line because the gasket retains it's shape, is very rigid and can handle a good amount of torque which works well for me since I am using fabricated aluminum valve covers that have no way of holding a gasket.
Thanks very much, most appreciated. The consensus still in favor over rubber : 4-2 with metal last. Not racing so rubber will suffice.
