Yep I bought the NGKs 3686 new number for XR45's

Surprisingly its now the same number as the Autolites.................................


I wonder whos making what these days....
My understanding is AC Delco and Autolite plugs are both made in China on the same line. The NGK are Japanese but all that could have changed.

Ok so when did that beautiful olds come into your life and where is the build thred? Get me up to speed where is the Malibu and the Monte LS? And when is that olds getting (Sledgehammer torque)? If you're going to join the club go all the way!

The AC platinums I got for the Monte was made just south of the boarder. Maybe it depends on the type more than the brand
 
I run autolite 55 in my bbo.

I have ran AC Delco copper, Rapid Fire platinum, Bosch Platinum, currently in my 260, Autolite Copper and NGK Cooper plugs in the Olds V8. I have never owned a 307 swirl port, only drove cars with them. I really want to try the NGK Iridium plugs but they are a pain in the *ss to find or get from the States. The NGK just idled the smoothest, the Autolite/Ac Delco, especially the older ones are a close second.
