Fixed that for you.

Ok, back to the ol' grind.

I had to drop the tank as I had strong reason to suspect that I had incorrectly connected the return and vent lines.... I had a really odd 25psi pressure loss on my return side prior to parking the car also, which I thought was the roll over valve being launched off the inside of the sending unit.

So out it came.

I discovered the roll over check valve was still intact but I definately hooked up the return line to the vent.... disappointing...

So I cut off the vent and seached for the compression fitting to reconnect, but I didn't have the right size...

So I got a few things ready for a potential buyer in Saskachewan. Ol' motorheadmike, even though he doesn't hang out here anymore, he needed a replacement turbo for the Monte. And some brakes for his turd-gen I think.

Got the correct fitting for the return line and buttoned it up. I decided to pop the roll over valve off and make sure it was ok after dumping my return into it. Blowing through it was super restricted so I hogged it out with a drill.

Kinda hard to see in the pics but it's restricted down to about 1/16" before and about 3/16" after. It made a noticable difference and hopefully will help the tank fill faster.

Tank was re-installed, and I am going to slap a fuel filter on the vent above the axle. Done deal.
