Having a Milodon on for 4K miles before the car's current extended stay in Garth's Resto B&B garage, I am now wondering if I should pop the pan and inspect mine?

Had no idea peeps were having problems with these.
Certainly have had no leaks, love the fit and look, and the extra capacity but, if the problems are all internal cracks, oh I needed something else to not get done.

But thanks for the heads up anyway!

I had decided against the move to Holley EFI because of needing more cam which pops the timing cover, headers, probably move to the Air Gap intake as my Performer would likely approach flow limitation and then a Cowl Hood to accommodate the extra height of the air gap but which would also help remove heat, plus paint ~ $4500 easy. Especially given my challenges just getting done what I have on my plate now? Decided only 450/550 HP/TQ is going to have to do . . . [ONLY]

If the pan is coming off, I may be revisiting this . . . wonder if Stef's Pans are any good?

The hot lick is the Canton pan from what I've seen on the interwebs.

Mark Remmel(Cutlassefi)uses them exclusively in his hi po builds. A high quality US made pan. He has had issues with the other ones. Moroso no longer being family owned certainly shows. I will probably just upgrade to the BBO replacement pan on my 403 build. Quite a few places offer than for around $50. Just check the baffle weld quality, drain plug and straightness.
