🤔 I have two blue bins. You know, full of stuff I will likely never use but, well, you just never know?

Exhaust version 3.5: I pulled the 3" straight section with the Speedway "muffler insert" in favor of a Jones Racing. It's basically a round Flowmaster 2 chamber. It's definitely quieter at idle, but still a raspy b*st*rd at higher rpm. I'll know better tomorrow on the commute and cold start idle.

No idea how yours will do but I have used resonators ahead of the mufflers on my last 2 V6 trucks. They do a remarkably good job at shaping the sound, lowering the note so to speak, and taming that V6 raspiness. Now in old fart shoes, I’d want the biggest Magnaflow in behind it that I could fit that you hear when your foot’s in the fan but otherwise fairly quiet but that’s just me getting old I suspect. Damn kids anyway!

That terrible V6 sound is why even if I supercharge my Challenger GT, it would be a hard sell for any aftermarket exhaust, stock sounds very good and isn't very restrictive. 2.5" dual head pipes into a X pipe then 2.25 dual pipes, into straight through round mufflers into resonators. There are a couple of neck down spots I may fix and add a better X pipe. Either way that should make a nice difference in sound with no restriction added.

that spinny, wooshy thing is even more impressive with a pressure relief valve that's as big as the spinny, wooshy thing!

I've pretty much resolved myself to the fact that the only thing to make it tolerable is a spinny, whooshy thing. BUT, I really don't want an imploding $200 Chinese time bomb; this muffler was $40.

No one said you HAD to buy the cheap one...
