Operation Lipstick on a Pig

Well, I need MIG gas, so I changed gears for a minute. I pulled the inner fenderwell to get the old computer harness out, and figured that while I'm there, I'd mess with the HVAC. Rather than have custom conversion lines made, I took a gamble on the A/C coil from the Firebird fitting in the heaterbox. I think it'll work just fine. It is a tad smaller, so I wedged a piece of radiator hose behind it to tighten it up. Put a new heater core in, too.

Lucky the shop dog approves as well..

You are cruising along. This thing is begging for a turbo.

Looks fine, it would take me some pratice to pull off those welds. Especially for an area than you can undercoat and not see most of the time.

A little caulk and paint will make a carpenter what he ain't!

you think that's bad? you should see the floorboard welds on the regal! I make bubblegum welds look good!

my opinion, if you can't see it, and it's strong enough, who cares?

glad you were able to take care of the issue at hand!
