That sounds a lot more expensive than some 3/16 sheet steel. I saw about a 6" section originally; I didn't realize it was 18. This isn't a restoration. I'm thinking 5-6 year repair. I'd eventually like to find a nice, southern 2 door.not entirely horrible. Conrad had both replacement rails, and the portions which hold the bolts to the body. You can see on his website that you can cut the rail to move it out of the way. Drill out the spot welds and the whole pocket comes down with the captured nuts. Weld in new pockets, and a replacement frame section. I have a full set at work just in case mine is bad when I get around to separating the body from the frame.
