That's an old stereo trick. Instead of using fiberglass chop or woven mat, use trunk liner carpet. That's why I had my daughter do the trunk, so i knew how much scrap i had. It holds shape very well; then just resin it up. I could have sanded it smooth but just DGAF at this point.

Finish the heaterbox
Build the core support
Fabricate the mounts for the fuse/relay center, airbox, and ECM
Run trans cooler lines
A/C lines
Hook up cruise wiring
Trim gauge cluster and mount
Front speakers
Reinstall dash
Not much..... LOL
 
Not a terrible list. You will probably still get yours on the road before mine.
