So, the answer to the $64,000 question is: sort of. It ends up being at the very end of the adjustment. Then, I broke the bolt off. So, while it was out, my Steam fitter neighbor was over, and just to give it more adjustment, we cut the rod and put a section of 3/8 schedule 80 pipe nipple in it. That lengthed the rod about 1/2", and now it works. So, in conclusion, if you have access to a 4 speed rod, use it, or you can modify a 3 speed.Does it shift through all the gears with out any bind or dident you make it that far yet
