Need some opinions from those who have done both (or either). I have a set of Pontiac Rally II's that need refinishing before they go on my LeMans. Going to get them blasted this Thursday but I'm torn on whether to get them powder coated or just paint them myself. And because they will be 2 tone (I have the stencil kit for the 2 tone), will they need to powder coat both colours or just the base? Thoughts?

I can ask my friend who does tires and sends wheels to a local shop to get them powder coated once in a while. The shop he sends them to blasts them before the powder coat and they are not expensive. I'll get the shops name today

Ok cool! I have a place in Woodstock that will blast them, was going to take them Thursday but nothing is set in stone. Have to get the old tires taken off of them first, getting that done while my truck is in for new tires Thursday morning

Already set up for the tires. Getting the truck and new summers for the girlfriends car. But I'll look him up for sure when it comes time for LeMans tires and looks like he does exhaust...

he can get exhausts but he doesn't install them, but between you and me I got a place in Burlington that does custom exhaust that is cheaper and better than bought stuff

I have a set of 5 15" Rally IIs that I had powder-coated in silver. Too bad you're so far away, I don't think I'm going to use them (I want a set of the 8" snowflakes on my GA). The local company I used sandblasted and coated front, back, and inside. They look great and I was going to paint the center part either gold or charcoal gray and run without trim rings. I'll try to post a couple of pics of them for reference.
