And before you stated about educating myself on the relays check the whole thread you have just repeated what I have already said

I was just trying to splice some wires together so I could get some readings off the gauges to do a bit of work I do plan on getting some aftermarket gauges or a led dash cluster

OK so here's an update I found 4 of my 5 fuel relay wires the last one is a red wire marked prime conn do I just substitute that for a 12v source? Here is the diagfam

OK, here's my take on it: the TBI 4.3 that ran off the ECM didn't have gauges- just idiot lights. So, if it were my project, I would wire in a dedicated fuel pump relay and oil send wire.
The only factory wire I would use would be the tan/white to the fuel pump. Get an aftermarket oil pressure safety switch like this: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/crt-a68301 Wire 85 & 86 to the safety switch and ground, and grab a 12ga. tap off the pink ignition circuit for the feed side of the switch in the relay.
Check the part number on the oil sender; it may be for an idiot light, not a gauge. Run a separate tan to the gauge cluster as the factory one is tied to the ECM and fuel pump.
