OTA TV

Where are the transmitters in relation to you? The signal is straight-line so maybe you need two antennas. One in each direction to get all the stations?

Ima call it good. I took the RCA Yagi down, and this "cookie sheet", as I call it, is the shizznit. It's pointed SSE, and I get way more channels than the Yagi or the UHF section of a traditional antenna. End result is all Channel Master: 4228 antenna, Titan 2 preamp, Ultra Mini 8 powered splitter with 3 ports capped, RG6 wire, and a 2.5GHz splitter on 1 drop.20191222_142959.jpg

But can it unscramble the adult channels? 😛

man i don't know much about the TV antenna subject but it's good to see there's a way cheaper alternative out there.I'm gonna look into this in the near future.

I don't know about way cheaper, but it is a viable option to big cable. I got all 4 major networks, public television, and a couple independents for about $300 wiring it myself, but there are a ton of variables. It's an exercise in patience for sure.
Oh, and it's ALL HD if the station is broadcasting it, on regular UHF. Don't fall for the "HD antenna" crap; it's just UHF.

I have never paid for cable in my life. Simply because every time I was at a friend's house with cable, there was nothing on I wanted to see. And it has more commercials than OTA TV, that you are paying for. What a rip-off. I guess if you live in the middle of nowhere and there are no stations- then you do what you must.

Here I go again; can't leave well enough alone. I'm doubling the array with another 4228. Got tired of messing with it and didn't want to get up on the roof today, but this should give you an idea. Got a switchable amp just in case it's too hot, but I have my doubts.
