Hello everyone I have a 1987 cutlass supreme brougham. My car has a painted "8" all around the car. I found one in the door jamb of the driver side, right above the gas cap on the car, and i think one in the engine compartment. I also have the warranty and manual and they also have an "8" written on them with the date it was delivered and the milage at the time. Does anyone know what this would mean? I will try to get pics.

Could be a dealer code for service techs, my girlfriend just bought a G6 and it's got blue dots in the door jambs. When we asked out of curiosity it's so the same tech crews work on the same cars and they track it that way.
