glad you found it, not all cars got the plates I guess. But I figured if my slightly newer olds had it, good chance yours would too.
 
I noticed that you have 77u & 73L on your label on cowl. That indicates that your car was two toned from the factory. A medium maple metallic on the top and light maple metallic on the bottom. I have looked for pics of those paint codes and came up with nothing. You could always try a local paint store or bodyshop and have a look at the color decks. Are you planning on painting the car back to stock color?

The thought of painting it factory color is crossing my mind. Or atleast something close.

Orginaly, I was going to go with "flat black". But, there is no recorse if there is any paint damage. Other than repainting the panel.
