Hrmm.

What's the over/under on whether this thread can take as long to get the right solution as it took to stop throwing random things at the 454 without diagnosing it properly?

We could brainstorm alternatives... household caulking, plastic weld, epoxy, superglue, spray foam insulation, weatherstripping, rtv....

Those Camaro seals look like they will work, they look to be the same style sockets as my 86' Regal.

You started this circle sh**t game. It's not my fault you can't read a parts book. Probably why you don't have one. I guess I'll have to get out the overhead projector to explain all this to you. The point is that the gasket is with the socket. There's a part number for the replacement sockets that come with the gasket installed. Gasket is not sold separately from GM. It may be, but it would have to be used somewhere else and I'm not spending any more time on it since you want to act like a dlck about it. Look for your application on that page. That's why I said if you zero in on exactly which one you need I could find it quicker. Now YOU have to look it up. The book says it starts with a 12...

You can also maybe look that sh**t up at Advance Auto Parts or NAPA online for "turn signal lamp sockets" or similar. They have them, and there are gaskets on those too. Problem is with aftermarket it doesn't always fit like OEM and gaskets are usually thinner. Some of the restoration places sell aftermarket gaskets, but I have no idea of their fit/quality. Now you know.

Don't make promises you can't keep,i bet there's people out there that have never seen an overhead projector.I'll meet you halfway and start mixing base off of microfiche again.

I have a fiche reader too but doesn't have the capability to print. I got parts books on fiche. God***mit. I hate those things.
