Picking up the new car on Saturday.

Like l need another one ! So for $1000 Canadian l'm picking up a 79 Olds Cutlass Coupe, no engine or transmission but good solid floors and frame. Body is in good shape and could run it the way the body sits. Plans, choices choices, well l got a 502 and 2- 70's 350's sitting and a th400 with a 3200 stall or there is an Alison torque converter stall ??
Well let's see where my imagination takes me.

Thanks ! The fact is it had a 350 Olds in it but he sold it to his buddy that's been begging for the Engine ! If l was going Olds l'd go 455, seen afew cores for under a $1000 on Kijiji.
I got 4 cars on the build as it is , but 3 are now at the point of paint , 1 huge build(Frame, floors an so on) this one was the last thing l needed.
I think l need help for my addiction !! Lol.

That's the way l'm leaning as it's ready to drop in, but need to re cam it as it was built for towing, under 300hp but over 600lbs of torque. Then l'll also have to change rearend from the 7.5 with 2.73 gears.
I think the Chevelle is still on the back burner until l get this one done.

4.56, block to next block car ! Lol ! So then l'd need a 6 point roll cage to hold it together ! Oh and to lose 150lbs to get in it, hmmm, ya can't see either of them happening. Lol !
So came to conclusion it's the 502, Th400 as it's already been build for beating(Shift kit plus). Got to find out stall of the Alison torque converter then l'll know which torque converter to use. Just trying to use up parts l got.
