piston debate on my budget build up

keep in mind these are the stock pistons out of the motor, it is rated at 300 hp and i believe that, it had been in my dads 22 foot cuddy cabin boat and it toped out over 70, that is insane for a boat with a small block!
are you sure those pistons are dished? maybe what you see are valve reliefs ......
if you have four valve reliefs on top it aint dish ! almost all sbc pistons have these and with 64cc vortec heads you get aprox 9:6 to 1 cr ..that is great for a street engine ....
