Exactly 🍻Ring gap has almost no impact on blow by. A few thousandths isn’t going to hurt anything. It’s better to be wide than butt the ring ends and break them.

I’ve seen them but haven’t seen any dyno data to prove one way or another. Not sure if they’re low enough tension to make a significant difference. Power gains in gas porting is having the ring be zero drag except when it’s sealing. The last 2 engines had gas ported pistons. I like vertical for drag motors and lateral for circle track.Anyone used a set of those rings where the top ring itself is drilled with gas holes instead of the land? Theory runs along the lines of them being more efficient when it comes to expanding and sealing up the cylinder.
