I was just wondering, how many LeMans do we have on this forum?
Maybe you will post picture of yours, if you have one... :D

My plan for winter, 4L DOCH V8 engine, with haltech and holset HX55 turbo, TH350 transmission, ford 9" rear, with 3.50 and detroit locker. Full chassis restoration also.
Most of you will think I`m grazy on something to put engine like that, but these fuel prices (8.4$/gallon), it will be much more useable car to me, powerfull when you need it, but still economical...

here is mine:

Re: Pontiac Grand LeMans

Not a "grand", but I've got a LeMans project on the go, currently in the body shop for the winter getting some "cosmetic surgery" lol.

And as it sits now, at the body shop

I certainly can`t let this one go by without adding to it. Her are a couple pics of my 81 from first purchase to now. So far I`ve repainted it the samo color scheme as my old 79 GrandAm and installed the actual snowflake wheels that were on my 79 about 26-27 years ago. I have replaces my cracked dash with a nice mint one and replaced my factory black gauges with a silver set from 78. I have also installed 78 Grandam chrome taillamps, just because I like them better. The dash also has a modern sound system with a trunk mounted amp, 6X9`s in the back and Buick Regal concert sound lower door panels to hide those speakers.

Chassis wise I have installed a 442 rear swaybar and a 3rd t/a front bar with urethane bushings and end links. It also has pretty much every available factory chassis brace installed except for the cowl to rad support ones (I just think they look ugly). In the spring when the snow melts I should finally be able to install my Pontiac 400 along with a new tilt/cruise control columm (the CC buttons will control the line lock), Jeep steering shaft and fast ration steering box. Once out of winter storage it`s my daily driver until November and sees about 14000kms a year.

Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Terrible picture but you get the idea.
265 Pontiac, rebuilt 2BBL, MSD ignition and wires.
Rebuilt 2.41 rear end, reinforced cover, Bilstein shocks, Summit cargo coils, 1" UMI swaybar.
Slowly getting to the front end.
15" Camaro rims with 225's all 4 corners, got a set of 16" Ronal R9's that are waiting for tires.

Super jealous of all the guys with the '81 front ends.
