The car is pretty rough and the kid has no where to keep it. It needs floors, front of the 1/4’s are rotted near the rockers. Both 1/4’s are swayed and the rear of the frame is bent. It’s supposedly a factory t top car which is pretty rare from what I understand, but it’s pretty far gone.If thats all the damage why not fix it. I would love to have one
There is a market as I am rebuilding a 79 Cutlass and it very hard to get parts. Seems like the parts come up and then they are gone. Everything also seems overpriced to me.A buddy of mine bought a 79 w30 with t tops. It was a pretty rough car but could’ve been made into a decent driver. The other night he spun out and wrecked the rear of the car. I was thinking of buying it from him and parting it out. Unfortunately as rough as it was and now with the whole *ss being damaged it’s too far gone. I was just wondering how strong the market is for that year parts, engine/trans, shifter, console, gauges, wheels, and such. I was thinking of using the sway bars on my Malibu and maybe the rear since I still have the original v6 rear. View attachment 135290
I feel this is exactly where this is headed...Everything also seems overpriced to me.
Junk for gold?I feel this is exactly where this is headed...
