Did your buddy by chance purchase that car in N.H.

i would be interested in the hood ornament and the emblem that is set in between the grilles.

As of right now, it looks like I’m going to be getting the car. I’m trying to soften the blow to my wife of having another vehicle. Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday. The first pic is from when he got it.

If thats all the damage why not fix it. I would love to have one
The car is pretty rough and the kid has no where to keep it. It needs floors, front of the 1/4’s are rotted near the rockers. Both 1/4’s are swayed and the rear of the frame is bent. It’s supposedly a factory t top car which is pretty rare from what I understand, but it’s pretty far gone.

A buddy of mine bought a 79 w30 with t tops. It was a pretty rough car but could’ve been made into a decent driver. The other night he spun out and wrecked the rear of the car. I was thinking of buying it from him and parting it out. Unfortunately as rough as it was and now with the whole *ss being damaged it’s too far gone. I was just wondering how strong the market is for that year parts, engine/trans, shifter, console, gauges, wheels, and such. I was thinking of using the sway bars on my Malibu and maybe the rear since I still have the original v6 rear. View attachment 135290
There is a market as I am rebuilding a 79 Cutlass and it very hard to get parts. Seems like the parts come up and then they are gone. Everything also seems overpriced to me.
